What is guaranteed when you buy on Bifrost, and how to claim it.

Every coin on Bifrost was examined by professional numismatists before its certificate was issued, and independent auditors verify on a rolling basis that every certificate is backed by exactly one physical coin. If a coin you bought on Bifrost is ever shown by a qualified expert to be not genuine, we refund your full purchase price and the certificate is withdrawn. This guarantee does not expire and follows the coin through resales on the platform.
Bifrost settles both legs of your purchase as the settlement agent: it takes your payment and, in the same settlement, transfers the certificate to you. You are never left having paid without receiving your coin, and there is no counterparty you have to wait on to perform. Orders also settle only when the payment comes from the wallet linked to your account — a payment from any other source is rejected, which prevents interception and mistaken-payment disputes.
While vaulted, your coin is stored in an individually assigned slot, insured at market value, and covered by the audit programme. If you redeem, shipment is insured door to door at declared value. If a shipment arrives damaged or does not arrive, report it within 14 days of the notified delivery date and the insured claim is handled by us, not by you against a carrier.
Market prices of collector coins move in both directions, and buyer protection does not insure the resale value of your purchase. It also does not cover damage occurring after you have taken personal possession of a redeemed coin, or claims arising from transactions conducted outside the platform.
Start at the Verify page to check any certificate, or open a support ticket from your account. Claims under the authenticity guarantee should include the certificate reference and the expert findings. We acknowledge every claim within two working days and keep you informed until it is resolved. If you disagree with an outcome, you may escalate to a written complaint, which is reviewed by someone other than the original handler; the dispute path in the Terms of Service then remains open to you.
