Bifrost is in its launch window — some collections carry launch pricing; the Terms of Service govern every purchase. See the imprint for the status of the platform.
1. The single cookie we set
Bifrost sets exactly one cookie: a session cookie that keeps you signed in as you move between pages. It contains a session reference, not your personal details, and it is strictly necessary for the signed-in parts of the service to function. Because it is strictly necessary, no consent banner is required for it — and we would rather not show you one for theatre.
If you never sign in, the platform sets no cookie at all. Every public page — the market, price histories, provenance records, guides — works completely without cookies.
2. What we deliberately do not use
No advertising cookies. No third-party analytics cookies. No cross-site tracking pixels, fingerprinting scripts or social-media embeds that report your visit to someone else. Your reading habits on Bifrost are not a product.
Your text-size preference from the accessibility toggle is stored in your browser's local storage, on your device only. It is never transmitted to us and you can clear it through your browser at any time.
3. Managing the cookie
Signing out deletes the session cookie immediately. You can also remove it through your browser's site-data settings at any time; the only effect is that you are signed out. Blocking cookies entirely in your browser keeps every public page working, but you will not be able to stay signed in to trade, list or manage your collection.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a new strictly necessary cookie is introduced — the change will be described here, with the date at the top of this page updated, before it takes effect.
